In the 9th minute, Salvador Allende FC's Carlos Hernán Lyon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hipolito Mosquera. Hipolito Mosquera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Elizalde Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Hipolito Mosquera made a huge save. Viviano Bolados's late challenge caught a Salvador Allende FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viviano Bolados helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Viviano Bolados hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanausu Wittemberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hipolito Mosquera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eder Squella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Finlay's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Eder Squella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Soto Tapia in the 23rd minute of the match. Enrico Finlay scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eder Squella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 minutes, Enrico Finlay made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Salvador Allende FC's Eder Squella tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40thth minute of the game Enrico Finlay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salvador Allende FC's Eder Squella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrico Finlay in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eder Squella saved Salvador Allende FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelmo Andrada in the 44th minute of play forced Salvador Allende FC's goalkeeper Eder Squella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enrico Finlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Finlay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Enrico Finlay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eder Squella. Salvador Allende FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrico Finlay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Enrico Finlay in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eder Squella, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reces Pablo's late challenge caught a Caracha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reces Pablo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Salvador Allende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reces Pablo to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Nemesio Bacquet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Caracha booed when Salvador Allende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Raúl Turres didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Enrico Finlay came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Caracha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Finlay couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Salvador Allende FC's goalkeeper Eder Squella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrico Finlay. Eder Squella came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Caracha's Anastasio Soto Tapia. But to his dismay, Anastasio Soto Tapia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Enrico Finlay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eder Squella having to make a save. Adelmo Andrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eder Squella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúlo Montoya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eder Squella having to interfere. Adelmo Andrada scored 1-6 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eder Squella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caracha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
