After having played for 3 minutes, Tanausu Wittemberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salvador Allende FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanausu Wittemberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanausu Wittemberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomasino Saso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Carlos Hernán Lyon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasino Saso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanausu Wittemberg in the 13th minute of play forced Citanane's goalkeeper Tomasino Saso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Citanane's Tomasino Saso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanausu Wittemberg in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Salvador Allende FC defense, Isidro Villar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eder Squella. The Salvador Allende FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eder Squella should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Citanane's Tomasino Saso got control of the ball when Elizalde Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Isidro Villar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eder Squella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Villar in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eder Squella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Angelo Pirazzoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Isidro Villar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eder Squella. Salvador Allende FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Villar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reces Pablo during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Salvador Allende FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Reces Pablo hit a great ball. Salvador Allende FC's Eder Squella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Villar in the 43rd minute of play. Delfino Bauzá kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanausu Wittemberg was the one to do the kick off. Tanausu Wittemberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasino Saso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Citanane's Florinio Herquiñigo got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes, Salvador Allende FC's Juan Raúl Turres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomasino Saso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salvador Allende FC reached it. In the 72nd minute, Angelo Pirazzoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eder Squella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Citanane's Osvaldo Balladares was substituted for Alifonso Villaseca. Tomasino Saso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elizalde Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Tomasino Saso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elizalde Fantini in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Isidro Villar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eder Squella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Isidro Villar lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Eder Squella. With a little luck, Salvador Allende FC's Eder Squella got control of the ball when Isidro Villar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Citanane could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Salvador Allende FC throughout the match.
