The wind increased when Silvestre Garretón made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Saint Sophia got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Dunn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Garretón in the 53rd minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcadio Lemos came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Sophia's Kiliz Gonzáles. But to his dismay, Kiliz Gonzáles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Thanks to some nice moves Kiliz Gonzáles could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Alcadio Lemos however easily saved by the left post. Archibaldo Gallo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Conrado Velez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alcadio Lemos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint Sophia. Silvestre Garretón struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. In the 83rd minute, Kiliz Gonzáles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Sophia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Kiliz Gonzáles did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Alcadio Lemos 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Garretón in the 94th minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Quiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Saint Sophia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Universidad de chile.
