Odilón Navarrete came out of the goal and Cipriano Montt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Deportes Temuco's Brian Tenorio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Odilón Navarrete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Odilón Navarrete made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Brian Tenorio sent off a good shot on target. Macaria F.C's Odilón Navarrete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Macaria F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Domingo Urizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Campos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Macaria F.C's Odilón Navarrete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Montt in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Brian Tenorio notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Macaria F.C's Odilón Navarrete. Odilón Navarrete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brian Tenorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Odilón Navarrete made a huge save. Cristobal Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Urizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Cipriano Montt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportes Temuco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Odilón Navarrete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Pernambucano in the 58th minute of play. Rafinha Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Rafinha Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odilón Navarrete having to interfere. Brian Tenorio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Jorginho Valdivia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macaria F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. 74 minutes into the game, Ye Xun Xiao threw the ball into play from the sideline. Macaria F.C's Clemencín Otava quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 76 minutes into the game, Brian Tenorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Tenorio in the 82nd minute of play forced Macaria F.C's goalkeeper Odilón Navarrete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Macaria F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Pernambucano came free, but Odilón Navarrete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Macaria F.C getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jorginho Valdivia hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Eduard Kowalesko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odilón Navarrete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Odilón Navarrete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Montt in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Macaria F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Urizar to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Brian Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odilón Navarrete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odilón Navarrete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Montt, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 97 played minutes Macaria F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Valdivia. After 98 minutes of play, Deportes Temuco's Rafinha Pernambucano made it 7-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odilón Navarrete was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deportes Temuco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
