Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Félix Patiño took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, César Mansilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crucero del Sur and the Shohoku FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. César Mansilla kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Crucero del Sur's Tom Howard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félix Patiño in the 6th minute of play. José Marcelo Vildosola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zacarías Paternost came out and tried to block the shot, but José Marcelo Vildosola slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Shohoku FC's Adam Plaza got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Pedro José Gamboa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Crucero del Sur's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Orlando Byers in the 16th minute. The corner led Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa to a score. 2-0 in the 16th minute. In the 24th minute, Orlando Byers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zacarías Paternost. The goal made the score 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, Pedro José Gamboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarías Paternost. Shohoku FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro José Gamboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 31 minutes into the game, Orlando Byers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zacarías Paternost. Orlando Byers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. If Pedro José Gamboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Crucero del Sur got a freekick which was hit by César Mansilla. Abdón Baros took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarías Paternost. Zacarías Paternost dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Zacarías Paternost didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Iaki went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Zacarías Paternost was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliazar Buitrago showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Marcelo Vildosola made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Orlando Byers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Zacarías Paternost was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Orlando Byers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarías Paternost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarías Paternost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro José Gamboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Howard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Macho in the 72nd minute of play. Pedro José Gamboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarías Paternost having to interfere. Orlando Byers took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarías Paternost. Zacarías Paternost dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 81st minute, Orlando Byers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarías Paternost was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 84 minutes into the game, Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarías Paternost made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. 92 minutes into the match, José Marcelo Vildosola notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Shohoku FC's Zacarías Paternost. Zacarías Paternost was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Marcelo Vildosola during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Crucero del Sur got a freekick which was hit by José Marcelo Vildosola. Orlando Byers scored 16-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarías Paternost, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Crucero del Sur players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
