After a rather tough play, Campestre's Didi Zilles got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Olívio Peres scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tibúrcio Montenegro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Campestre's Tibúrcio Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Campestre from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes of play, Paulina's Olívio Peres made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tibúrcio Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes Campestre got a freekick which was hit by Tales Fantini. Ezequiel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Hilario Oihan made a precise shot to the right of Genílson Valladares. Paulina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Genílson Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Vaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tibúrcio Montenegro. Ezequiel Vaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Campestre's Tibúrcio Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Campestre from getting a goal against them. Tibúrcio Montenegro was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Olívio Peres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olívio Peres really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Tavares to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Paulina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Tibúrcio Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Vaz in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paulina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campestre the free kick. Rodolfo Soares hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes in the game Joaquim Donato got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Tibúrcio Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ezequiel Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Campestre's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Augusto de Moraes came free, but Tibúrcio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Campestre booed when Paulina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dudu de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Montenegro having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Campestre's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu de Godoi came free, but Tibúrcio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilario Oihan got free with Genílson Valladares in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Dudu de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genílson Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Di Fiore in the 89th minute of play. Genílson Valladares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Oihan went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Paulina getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dudu de Godoi hit a great ball. Paulina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
