Iulian Macovei's late challenge caught a Old Golden Boys FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Macovei helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Master SC Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Macovei. After some careless play in the Old Golden Boys FC defense, Carlos Augusto de Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duda Paranaense.
