Taquarana SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dida Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Rocha's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Maximum played a much better game than Taquarana SC and deserved their victory. The Taquarana SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
