After a defensive mix-up in Aldeia FC's zone, Rubens Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Valle came out of the goal and Rubens Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredão Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Hermes having to interfere. Rubens Urbano struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Nilton Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladario. When Rubens Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ladario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens Urbano couldn't finish the play. Nilton Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Meira in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Aldeia FC's Conrado Dracena seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Conrado Dracena the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aldeia FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Conrado Dracena had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aldeia FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Belmiro Mesquita walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Alfredão Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldeia FC's Alfredão Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Charles Meira made the kick off in the second half. Charles Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Valle having to interfere. Nilton Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Meira in the 67th minute of play. Fiori Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fiori Tróia hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, one of Aldeia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aldeia FC. When Ladario's Rubens Urbano in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aldeia FC's goalie prevented a goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Ladario's Rubens Urbano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilton Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Urbano in the 93rd minute of play forced Aldeia FC's goalkeeper Nilton Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldeia FC's goalkeeper Nilton Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
