Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Paulo Motta kicked off to start the match. When João Carlos Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Porciuncula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Marquez couldn't finish the play. Toninho Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, Porciuncula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Luz's late challenge caught a Sander E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Luz helped the player get up and apologised. 7 minutes in the game, José Paulo Motta fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Beto Sena having to interfere. The supporters of Sander E.C. booed when Porciuncula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Bruninho Velloso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Beto Sena to make any attempt to save it. When Naldo Luz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Porciuncula fans jumped to their feet. João Carlos Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruninho Velloso in the 18th minute. José Paulo Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Sander E.C. got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Motta. Sander E.C.'s Toninho Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Luz in the 28th minute of play. Bruninho Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Beto Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th minute Naldo Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naldo Luz made a kick off. Naldo Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Gonçalves having to interfere. Toninho Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Naldo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natanael Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toninho Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natanael Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Porciuncula booed when Sander E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Luz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Gonçalves came out and tried to block the shot, but Naldo Luz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Porciuncula's João Carlos Marquez got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Naldo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes, Rodriguinho Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sander E.C. and the Porciuncula players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Rodriguinho Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88thth minute of the game Naldo Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sander E.C.'s Toninho Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Velloso in the 91st minute of play forced Porciuncula's goalkeeper Beto Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sander E.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
