The wind increased when Arnaldo do Valle made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Cocamora SS got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Lara. Arnaldo do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Quadros having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Cocamora SS's Gernando Fonseca made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Capecu SS's Arnaldo do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnaldo do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Arnaldo do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 95 played minutes Arnaldo do Valle rounded Cocamora SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. The Capecu SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capecu SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
