Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Pontes in the 6th minute of play forced Boiacu's goalkeeper Durval Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Durval Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Pontes in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Machado saved Boiacu from getting behind. Leopoldo Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Machado having to interfere. If Matías da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Délio Severo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías da Fonseca in the 22nd minute. Leopoldo Pontes scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boiacu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Vikings FC defense, Fellipe Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Délio Severo. The Vikings FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Délio Severo should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Vikings FC's Durval Machado threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Pontes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Leopoldo Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vikings FC's Leopoldo Pontes got a free kick in the 91st minute. Delfim Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Machado having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vikings FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
