In the 14th minute there was a penalty for XXXXXXXXXXXV. Kléber Cavalcante stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardinho Neto. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinícius Pernambucano during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, EticaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Paulo Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano Rocha to make the kick off. When Edoardo Casadei came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the EticaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Casadei couldn't finish the play. If Vinícius Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Rocha in the 68th minute of play forced EticaFC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo de Almeida in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind XXXXXXXXXXXV's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edoardo Casadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Paulo Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Paulo Motta having to make a save. Hamílton Toledo came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardinho Neto could save by the left post. Luís Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the EticaFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
