Isaltino Vander came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Loreto AD's Ademar Simões. But to his dismay, Ademar Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. André Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ademar Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Vander having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marcelinho Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo. After some careless play in the Loreto AD defense, Guto Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Vander. The Loreto AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Vander should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Guto Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Cunha in the 95th minute of the match.
