Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Laércio Fonseca made the kick off which started today's match. Caco Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Helge Tittel took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caco Baptista. Caco Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cordeiros FC's Caco Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Cordeiros FC from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Igara SS got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Queiroz. Wilton Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dinei Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Caco Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denílson Mazza in the 28th minute. After 29 minutes, Dênis Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cordeiros FC and the Igara SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dênis Freire hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With his leg Caco Baptista managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Igara SS's Dinei Tasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Caco Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Queiroz in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Cordeiros FC defense, Dinei Tasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Baptista. The Cordeiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caco Baptista should have stopped the shot. Caco Baptista was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Pedro Luís Queiroz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedro Luís Queiroz really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Caco Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Diniz in the 46th minute of the match. Wilton Trigo came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Cordeiros FC's Luiz Paulo Tavares. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matheus Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caco Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Diniz in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Pedro Luís Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Dinei Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Caco Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matheus Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Caco Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caco Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Diniz in the 67th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Matheus Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Igara SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The supporters of Igara SS booed when Cordeiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helge Tittel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Cordeiros FC defense, Wojciech Dziura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Baptista. The Cordeiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caco Baptista should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Denílson Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Caco Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caco Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Tasso in the 82nd minute of the match. Igara SS's Dinei Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Dinei Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Caco Baptista. Cordeiros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. Cordeiros FC's Caco Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Diniz in the 96th minute of play. Caco Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Queiroz in the 97th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Pedro Luís Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Igara SS had played much better football throughout.
