Toninho Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 12 minutes, Jeferson Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iuri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeferson Proença struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Wellington Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iuri FC. Toninho Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Cerezo in the 19th minute of play forced Iuri FC's goalkeeper Toninho Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iuri FC's zone, Davi Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Miranda came out of the goal and Davi Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Laerte Vides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wellington Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Furlan in the 31st minute of the match. Toninho Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Cerezo in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bartosz Moryl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mina's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartosz Moryl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toninho Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Jeferson Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iuri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mina the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Iuri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Proença to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tales Furlan to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeferson Proença got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 53rd minute, Jeferson Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55thth minute of the game Davi Cerezo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iuri FC's Toninho Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes Iuri FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Vargas. In the 64th minute, Silvério de Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Davi Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Iuri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Cerezo came free, but Toninho Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Maia made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Naldo Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes Iuri FC got a freekick which was hit by Josué Terra. Toninho Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Mina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
