Marvado PartiuforaMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agostinho Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Marvado PartiuforaMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Lago came free, but Agostinho Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edu de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Paiva having to interfere. Mandacaia's Eugênio Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu de Toledo in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute Edu de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Marvado PartiuforaMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mandacaia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
