Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Fernando Trigo started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes, Caribas's Ademir Vides shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélder Simão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caribas reached it. 3 minutes into the match, Caribas's Matías Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Simão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rodolfo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 8 minutes, Patrício Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caribas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrício Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Matías Garcia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hélder Simão to make any attempt to save it. When Luiz Fernando Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Orlandia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Trigo couldn't finish the play. If Rodolfo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Renatinho Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caribas's protests and gave Renatinho Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Renatinho Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuca Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Patrício Rosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Hélder Simão however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rodolfo Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orlandia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuca Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuca Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Trigo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Rodolfo Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuca Ferraz having to interfere. Caribas's Samuca Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Trigo in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Luiz Fernando Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Samuca Ferraz. Caribas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Matías Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélder Simão having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Matías Garcia made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Matías Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hélder Simão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 63 minutes, Matías Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caribas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Alfredão Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orlandia AD and the Caribas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Orlandia AD getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alfredão Hoffmann hit a great ball. Patrício Rosa took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Simão. Hélder Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Rodolfo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Trigo in the 74th minute of play. Rodolfo Furlan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Orlandia AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 79th minute, Patrício Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Matías Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrício Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrício Rosa scored 5-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Simão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuca Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orlandia AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caribas.
