Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vitinho Rodrigues took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Sempre Verdão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Brito to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléberson de Queirós in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alagoas's Jardel Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Rodrigues in the 11th minute of play. Sempre Verdão's Matías Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Baiano in the 13th minute of play. Jardel Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Rodrigues in the 15th minute of play. Alagoas's Jardel Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Metz in the 16th minute of play. Jardel Veloso made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Carlos Fernando Penha sent off a good shot on target. Vitinho Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jardel Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alagoas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Vitinho Rodrigues scored to the left of an out of position Jardel Veloso, making the score, 1-0. After 38 played minutes Alagoas got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Mazza. With a little luck, Alagoas's Jardel Veloso got control of the ball when Vitinho Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wilian de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléberson de Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Clóvis Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Matías Ribeiro made a huge save. Vitinho Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Baiano got free with Matías Ribeiro in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Alagoas's Eusébio Mazza got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Clóvis Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Alagoas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Baiano couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Vitinho Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Jardel Veloso. Alagoas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Cléberson de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Alagoas booed when Sempre Verdão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Berry didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Alagoas defense, Carlos Fernando Penha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Veloso. The Alagoas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Veloso should have stopped the shot. Jardel Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Metz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jardel Veloso came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Sempre Verdão's Felix Metz. But to his dismay, Felix Metz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Baiano got free with Matías Ribeiro in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sempre Verdão fully deserved thier win.
