Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Renato Abraão made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Dende EC's zone, Vicente Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho de Barros came out of the goal and Vicente Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renato Abraão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Rodriguinho de Barros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Renato Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rodriguinho de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Rony Luz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nando Romero. In the 18th play minute Vicente Dracena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodriguinho de Barros. 1-1. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Renato Abraão sped through Dende EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodriguinho de Barros. In the 28th minute Renato Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Parurus's Arí Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráusio Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Dende EC got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Loureiro. The audience was convinced that Renato Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho de Barros was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Renato Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dende EC's Rodriguinho de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Abraão in the 61st minute of play. When Renato Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Parurus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Abraão couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Dracena in the 87th minute of play forced Dende EC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Dracena in the 90th minute of play. Nando Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Amorim in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Dende EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Vicente Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parurus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
