In the 6th minute, Curiphila Eagles's Güralp Erdoğan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mário Ribeiro. Mário Ribeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Mário Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güralp Erdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Rubinho Coutinho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güralp Erdoğan got free with Mário Ribeiro in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mário Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Victor Rosa sent off a good shot on target. Mário Ribeiro was a little too slow when Fernando Vaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. If Fernando Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jandira SS's goalkeeper Mário Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Güralp Erdoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gino Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jandira SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Vrabie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fernando Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deni De Vito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curiphila Eagles's Martin Vrabie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Curiphila Eagles from getting a goal against them. Güralp Erdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mário Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Victor Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Curiphila Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Rosa couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Curiphila Eagles fully deserved thier win.
