But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Marques couldn't finish the play. Simão Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Saraiva hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Bourbon Society F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Motta came free, but Tiaguinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Bourbon Society F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Esteves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Marques in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bourbon Society F.C's Tiaguinho Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bourbon Society F.C from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, S.E.R. VILA MARIA's Arlindo de Sousa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 46th minute Simão Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Moreira came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Bourbon Society F.C's Kiko Marques. But to his dismay, Kiko Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kiko Marques made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bourbon Society F.C's zone, Chico Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiaguinho Peres came out of the goal and Chico Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gernando Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Doni Moreira made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Kiko Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes S.E.R. VILA MARIA got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Pena. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.E.R. VILA MARIA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Doni Moreira, was totally fooled by Bourbon Society F.C's Rafa Nogueira, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 67 minutes into the match, Bourbon Society F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Sanches came free, but Tiaguinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gernando Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bourbon Society F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernando Amaral couldn't finish the play. Doni Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. S.E.R. VILA MARIA's Doni Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. VILA MARIA from getting a goal against them. Bourbon Society F.C were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after S.E.R. VILA MARIA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafa Nogueira took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hortêncio Rezende got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doni Moreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Doni Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Marques in the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, S.E.R. VILA MARIA's Chico Sanches made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Peres was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kiko Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernando Amaral got free with Doni Moreira in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kiko Marques in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 100th minute, Gernando Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bourbon Society F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bourbon Society F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
