But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Mineiro couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Anselmo Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Mattos. Echapora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Echapora's Ciro Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Mineiro in the 20th minute of play. Anselmo Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Mattos having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Echapora's Breno Rezende got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Anselmo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Mattos having to interfere. Ciro Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy de Barros in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Echapora getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Miguel Proença hit a great ball. Ciro Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy de Barros in the 29th minute of the match. Ciro Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy de Barros in the 32nd minute of play. Anselmo Mineiro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Mattos. Ciro Mattos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the game, Real Parque FC's Anselmo Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Percy de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Percy de Barros made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Mattos. Echapora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breno Rezende made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Parque FC's Anselmo Mineiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciro Mattos. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. A collision led to Real Parque FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Percy de Barros hit a great ball. Breno Rezende might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renato Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breno Rezende ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute of the match, Anselmo Mineiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Mattos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Echapora's Dé Fonseca got a free kick in the 65th minute. Percy de Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Ciro Mattos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 78 minutes, Anselmo Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Parque FC and the Echapora players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Parque FC's Anselmo Mineiro got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Anselmo Mineiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciro Mattos. Anselmo Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Anselmo Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Parque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Anselmo Mineiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Ciro Mattos to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Real Parque FC's Délio Cruz got a free kick in the 98th minute. Renato Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Parque FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
