After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Enrique Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jupiranga SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jupiranga SC's Edgar Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Loureiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Antway E. C.'s goalkeeper Waldir Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldir Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, 巩远平 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Antway E. C.'s zone, 巩远平 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Hoffmann came out of the goal and 巩远平 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A very good chance for a goal. Waldir Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Loureiro in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Loureiro in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Antway E. C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kléberson Xavier hit a great ball. João Adolfo de Brito struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Gildo Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antway E. C..

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Loureiro made a kick off. Baltazar Mello's late challenge caught a Antway E. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Mello helped the player get up and apologised. 巩远平 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, 巩远平 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Hoffmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jupiranga SC's Gildo Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo de Brito in the 67th minute of play. Antway E. C.'s Waldir Hoffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Antway E. C. from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, João Adolfo de Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antway E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a little luck, Antway E. C.'s Waldir Hoffmann got control of the ball when 巩远平 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Waldir Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jupiranga SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
