Jefferson de Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 3rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Natã Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Andrzej Rakowicz sent off a good shot on target. Jefferson de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rahmi Eyüpoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Faliant's protests and gave Rahmi Eyüpoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the match, Andrzej Rakowicz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Joatuba's Natã Bertassi. Natã Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Jarbas Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Jefferson de Amaral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 27 played minutes SC Faliant got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Moura. Joatuba's Natã Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson de Amaral in the 32nd minute of play. If Andrzej Rakowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Jefferson de Amaral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Andrzej Rakowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Faliant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrzej Rakowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Andrzej Rakowicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Natã Bertassi however easily saved by the left post. Andrzej Rakowicz took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natã Bertassi. Natã Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Jefferson de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute Andrzej Rakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Jefferson de Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to SC Faliant getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. 龙国棋 hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Andrzej Rakowicz put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Natã Bertassi. Natã Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson de Amaral in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Rahmi Eyüpoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Bertassi came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Faliant's Andrzej Rakowicz. But to his dismay, Andrzej Rakowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Natã Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Rakowicz went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Natã Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jefferson de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute Andrzej Rakowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléberson de Carvalho's late challenge caught a SC Faliant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Cléberson de Carvalho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Amílton Couto put in a rough tackle. 96 minutes into the game, one of SC Faliant:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee ended the match the SC Faliant players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
