In the 15th minute Iwo Sala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Arapongas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luís Fábio Custódio hit a great ball. Dinei Branco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 陶川军. 18 minutes into the game, Gugu Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinei Branco. Gugu Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Carlos Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Iwo Sala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinei Branco was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Arapongas's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Vallearena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
