Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alfredo Teles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Mangueira during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Pilaozinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Betinho Passos made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Alfredo Teles sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Flamengo's Betinho Passos got control of the ball when Alfredo Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wesley Mangueira got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moisés Rocha. If Alfredo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Betinho Passos made a huge save. If Moisés Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Wesley Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilaozinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Passos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Moisés Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruninho Trigo made a kick off. Alfredo Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Moisés Rocha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Flamengo's Betinho Passos. Betinho Passos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alfredo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alfredo Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilaozinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pilaozinho's Moisés Rocha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Osvaldinho Arruda in the 71 minute of the game. In the 73rdth minute of the game Alfredo Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's Betinho Passos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betinho Passos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Teles's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho Passos was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Betinho Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Pilaozinho's Alfredo Teles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betinho Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pilaozinho's Moisés Rocha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Otávio Tavares, made in the 90th minute of the game. Betinho Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Teles in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Alfredo Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's Betinho Passos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th minute Alfredo Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pilaozinho fully deserved thier win.
