C.'s zone, Alfredão Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Lima came out of the goal and Alfredão Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Renato Figueiredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murilo Lima. Sibéria F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. C.'s Murilo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Figueiredo in the 42nd minute of play. The Arapira fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Arapira's Renato Figueiredo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Baltazar Moreno made the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Baltazar Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Tavares got free with Murilo Lima in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murilo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Saraiva in the 74th minute of play. João de Azevedo's late challenge caught a Arapira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, Arapira's Renato Figueiredo made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Tavares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Murilo Lima firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maurinho Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Murilo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Arapira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sibéria F. C..
