Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jamapara SC's Lúcio Linhares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Mendonça hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Umberto Motta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of César Carneiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Percy da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With an all-out effort, Jamapara SC's César Carneiro threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lúcio Linhares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute, Jamapara SC's Noel Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Percy da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Severo in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Apucaraninha's Renato Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 20 minutes, Renato Veloso made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Jamapara SC's Percy da Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. César Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilson Brodel went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Noel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Linhares scored 3-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Renato Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percy da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 40th minute, Jamapara SC's Noel Sousa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederico Varela hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jamapara SC's Percy da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Veloso in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Apucaraninha's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Sousa came free, but César Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Noel Sousa made a precise shot to the right of César Carneiro. Apucaraninha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. César Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Queiroz in the 67th minute of the match. Apucaraninha's Renato Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvério Severo's late challenge caught a Jamapara SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Severo helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Percy da Silva made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Renato Veloso notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Jamapara SC's Percy da Silva. Percy da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Carneiro came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jamapara SC's Noel Sousa. But to his dismay, Noel Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-4. 86 minutes into the game, Renato Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-5. Percy da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Percy da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Cearense in the 89th minute of the match. When Lúcio Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamapara SC's protests and gave Lúcio Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. Apucaraninha made a substitution. Marquinhos Freire replaced Luiz Eduardo Neves. In the 94th match minute, Jamapara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Percy da Silva didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Apucaraninha's Renato Veloso shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-6 in the ordered_time% minute.
