Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuca Vidal started the match with the kick off. Adhemar Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deivid Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizão Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Samuca Vidal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fiori França. The goal made the score 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Suinauma's Luizão Cavalcante made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deivid Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fred Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deivid Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Aliança Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Donatello Viana. 26 minutes into the match, Marco Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deivid Moreira. Aliança Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 30th match minute, Suinauma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Vidal to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Suinauma's Luizão Cavalcante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deivid Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Suinauma's Marco Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Suinauma were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Vidal in the 51st minute of play forced Suinauma's goalkeeper Fiori França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionísio Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionísio Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dionísio Veloso hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Benjamim Magalhães from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Deivid Moreira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marco Ferreira spun around in front of the goal 58 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Aliança Futebol Clube's goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Marco Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aliança Futebol Clube's Deivid Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Ferreira in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deivid Moreira saved Aliança Futebol Clube from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Aliança Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ferreira came free, but Deivid Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Sabino Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suinauma's Fiori França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aliança Futebol Clube's Deivid Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ferreira in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aliança Futebol Clube's zone, Marco Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid Moreira came out of the goal and Marco Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deivid Moreira was a little too slow when Marco Ferreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. Suinauma's Marco Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ferreira in the 91st minute of play forced Aliança Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Deivid Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suinauma's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
