Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celso Neves started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Neves in the 6th minute of play forced Azelelé F C's goalkeeper Erik Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Bittencourt in the 17th minute of play. João Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Celso Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azelelé F C's goalkeeper Erik Tande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erik Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Neves in the 26th minute of the match. Baltazar Vidal's late challenge caught a Retirinho SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Azelelé F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltazar Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Azelelé F C's Erik Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Cunha in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Celso Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azelelé F C's Erik Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Celso Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mateus Tinoco made a huge save. João Dracena might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Dracena ran back to his position shaking his head. Celso Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Erik Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Tinoco having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Leonardo Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. Celso Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Erik Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olívio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Neves in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play Azelelé F C's Baltazar Vidal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 66 played minutes Azelelé F C got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Vidal. After 67 played minutes, Retirinho SC's Fernando Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Tande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Retirinho SC reached it. In the 74th minute, Olívio Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erik Tande made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Olívio Cunha sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Claudinei Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azelelé F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Edu Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Tinoco. Retirinho SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 90thth minute of the game Olívio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azelelé F C's Erik Tande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Azelelé F C's Leonardo Bittencourt got a free kick in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Neves in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Tande saved Azelelé F C from getting behind. Celso Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
