Paulinho Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Rossi in the 13th minute of play forced Trem Bala F.C's goalkeeper Paulinho Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trem Bala F.C's Paulinho Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson de Amorim in the 14th minute of play. Flávio Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Paulinho Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Luciano Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Moreno succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Valdo de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Neves in the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trem Bala F.C defense, Flávio Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulinho Félix. The Trem Bala F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulinho Félix should have stopped the shot. Vitório Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Luciano Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulinho Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 42ndth minute of the game Róbson de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trem Bala F.C's Paulinho Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Luciano Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itacara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Trem Bala F.C's goalkeeper Paulinho Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Rossi. Luciano Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trem Bala F.C's goalkeeper Paulinho Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Gernando Severo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Kauan do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Trem Bala F.C got a freekick which was hit by Kauan do Valle. Osvaldo Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Trem Bala F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão de Queiroz came free, but Paulinho Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Itacara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Terra hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Róbson de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Luciano Rossi sped through Trem Bala F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulinho Félix. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson de Amorim in the 84th minute of play forced Trem Bala F.C's goalkeeper Paulinho Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Róbson de Amorim lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Paulinho Félix. With a little luck, Trem Bala F.C's Paulinho Félix got control of the ball when Falcão de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulinho Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson de Amorim in the 97th minute of play.
