Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Silveira started the match with the kick off. Matías Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Silveira in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Vianna saved Sumauma SC from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Alfredinho Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Matías Vianna. Sumauma SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sumauma SC's zone, André Luiz Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matías Vianna came out of the goal and André Luiz Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alex Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Vianna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luiz Rosado went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Guarantan's Alex Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Alex Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alex Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Koehler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matías Vianna. Sumauma SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alex Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Alex Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guarantan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesinha do Valle made a kick off. Alex Silveira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Matías Vianna 52 minutes into the match. Sumauma SC's Matías Vianna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sumauma SC from getting a goal against them. After 58 minutes of play, Sumauma SC's Léo Antunes made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dito Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dito Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Antunes in the 65th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guarantan's Alfredinho Vinhas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matías Vianna. That made the score 2-5 after 67 minutes of play. In the 71st minute, Alfredinho Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. In the 76th minute Luís Gustavo Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Guarantan's João Augusto Jacinto got a free kick in the 79th minute. Dito Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matías Vianna came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredinho Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 84th minute. Guarantan's André Luiz Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guarantan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
