Ramiro Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Omayski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Pirani in the 6th minute of play forced Cirino SPC's goalkeeper Ramiro Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cirino SPC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Márcio Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Eliseu Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Pirani in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Cirino SPC's Décio Sarmento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 31 played minutes Cirino SPC got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Félix. A sloppy throw-in by Geovânio Dias in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cirino SPC's Zézinho Correia. After 41 played minutes Galheiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Marquez. Décio Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 48 minutes of play, Cirino SPC's Cássio Furtado made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Tham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikola Omayski to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cirino SPC's Ramiro Rezende got control of the ball when Nikola Omayski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cirino SPC's Zézinho Correia got a free kick in the 58th minute. Galheiro FC's Chiquinho Pombal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ramiro Rezende but with some difficulty. Mattias Tham came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Cirino SPC's Márcio Nascimento. But to his dismay, Márcio Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 70th match minute, Cirino SPC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Félix to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Nikola Omayski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikola Omayski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ramiro Rezende made a huge save. 84 minutes into the game, Nikola Omayski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Rezende. Nikola Omayski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. In the 90th minute Décio Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
