Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Luiz Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Juerana's Luiz Rodrigues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fábio Arruda. Fábio Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fábio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Rodrigues in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Simão in the 10th minute of play forced Sangue Nos Zóio's goalkeeper Fábio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Juerana got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Ramos. The Sangue Nos Zóio fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Sangue Nos Zóio's Carlos Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Sangue Nos Zóio's zone, José Pedro Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Arruda came out of the goal and José Pedro Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute José Pedro Simão suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Willian Rezende's late challenge caught a Juerana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. Willian Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Valdemar Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Glauco Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fábio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sangue Nos Zóio defense, Sidnei Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fábio Arruda. The Sangue Nos Zóio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Arruda should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes, Sidnei Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juerana and the Sangue Nos Zóio players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Juerana getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sidnei Ramos hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Luiz Rodrigues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fábio Arruda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Juerana booed when Sangue Nos Zóio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio Arruda having to make a save. Sangue Nos Zóio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Luiz Rodrigues scored to the left of an out of position Fábio Arruda, making the score, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Cruz made a kick off. Luiz Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Fábio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Sangue Nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Breckenfeld came free, but Fábio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sidnei Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sangue Nos Zóio's Fábio Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Rodrigues in the 66th minute of play. Luiz Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fábio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Luiz Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rony da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sangue Nos Zóio's protests and gave Rony da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, one of Sangue Nos Zóio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sangue Nos Zóio. The referee gave Juerana a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valdemar Pinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sangue Nos Zóio's Fábio Arruda. 5-1. Manoel Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Fábio Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
