In the 27th match minute, RAMBO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Porto to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Machado in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of RAMBO booed when Tupe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. RAMBO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Geovanni Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RAMBO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tupe EC's Duarte Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Machado in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adilson Barreto made a kick off. Richard Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Barreto in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Orlando Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Carlos Alberto Aparecido sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RAMBO's Richard Eger didn't even have to move. In the 68th minute, Adilson Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hélio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Richard Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Brasil made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mateus Vander sent off a good shot on target. Duarte Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Machado in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind RAMBO's goalkeeper Richard Eger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Tupe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Machado came free, but Duarte Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Figueiredo got free with Duarte Brasil in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded RAMBO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tupe EC.
