The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carregador SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cássio Marquezs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Toninho Borges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Evaristo Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Cássio Marquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Toninho Borges made a huge save. Toninho Borges was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cássio Marquez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 35 minute of play. Toninho Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Toninho Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Marquez in the 40th minute of the match. Evaristo Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Washington Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Carregador SC booed when Recanto AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Marquez in the 55th minute of play forced Recanto AD's goalkeeper Toninho Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Júnior Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Carregador SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alex Massa hit a great ball. Cássio Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Toninho Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Recanto AD got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Rossi. After a defensive mix-up in Recanto AD's zone, Cássio Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Borges came out of the goal and Cássio Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Recanto AD booed when Carregador SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Prestes in the 91st minute of play forced Recanto AD's goalkeeper Toninho Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carregador SC's Charles Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Carregador SC from getting a goal against them. Cássio Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Borges having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Carregador SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
