Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antônio Botelho got the match started through his kick off. Bacaba's Hudson Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Lima in the 5th minute of play. Hudson Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Lima in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Wágner Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wágner Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex de Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Glorioso Carioca getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Andrézinho Favoretto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Wágner Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28thth minute of the game Antônio Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glorioso Carioca's Alex de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wágner Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alex de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Botelho in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex de Moraes saved Glorioso Carioca from getting behind. Gernando Félix hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Paraibano got free with Alex de Moraes in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wágner Paraibano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 46th minute, Bacaba's Antônio Botelho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Botelho in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Botelho went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Wágner Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alex de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Botelho's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Botelho in the 68th minute of play forced Glorioso Carioca's goalkeeper Alex de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wágner Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alex de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Wágner Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Alan Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glorioso Carioca and the Bacaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Alan Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Botelho in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glorioso Carioca the free kick. The supporters of Glorioso Carioca booed when Bacaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Marquez, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wágner Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Antônio Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex de Moraes was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Bacaba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
