Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Normando Astudillo started the match with the kick off. Normando Astudillo scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Astudillo in the 10th minute of play forced Mustangs United Football's goalkeeper Henrique do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Normando Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piquara's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Macedo got free with José Augusto Vasconcelos in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Normando Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Normando Astudillo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique do Valle saved Mustangs United Football from getting behind. Henrique do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Astudillo in the 28th minute of the match. Mustangs United Football's Henrique do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Astudillo in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Gugu de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrique do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Astudillo in the 33rd minute of the match. Mustangs United Football's Henrique do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Astudillo in the 35th minute of play. Cido Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Piquara's José Augusto Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Cido Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cido Amaral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Augusto Vasconcelos. That made the score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Neves to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Neves in the 56th minute of play forced Piquara's goalkeeper José Augusto Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Normando Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustangs United Football's Henrique do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Fonseca in the 61st minute of play. When Piquara's Normando Astudillo in 62 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Henrique do Valle guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 63 minutes, Sydney Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mustangs United Football and the Piquara players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mustangs United Football's Sydney Xavier got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Betinho Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique do Valle having to interfere. Mustangs United Football's Henrique do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mustangs United Football from getting a goal against them. José Augusto Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Macedo in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Piquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. If Normando Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique do Valle didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Henrique do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Normando Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Henrique do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquara. In the 80th minute, Sydney Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Normando Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mustangs United Football's Allan Carioca got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Mustangs United Football's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Normando Astudillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Henrique do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Fonseca in the 91st minute of play. Normando Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Augusto Vasconcelos came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Mustangs United Football's Cido Amaral. But to his dismay, Cido Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Piquara's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mustangs United Football had won, even though Piquara had held more of the ball.
