When Beto Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Chavantes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Pereira couldn't finish the play. Dito Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Sousa having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Claudinei Valle sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Premier Futebol Clube's Marcos Sousa didn't even have to move. When Felippe Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Premier Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Bezerra couldn't finish the play. Otávio Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eusébio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Araújo in the 20th minute of play forced Premier Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Marcos Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beto Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gernando Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Beto Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chavantes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Luiz Barbosa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Beto Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Simão Vasconcelos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Premier Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chavantes EC the free kick. The supporters of Chavantes EC booed when Premier Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Dito Araújo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Premier Futebol Clube's Marcos Sousa. Marcos Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the game, Mathias Galvão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chavantes EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Premier Futebol Clube the free kick. After 39 played minutes Chavantes EC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Galvão. Eusébio Marques acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Giovanni Vander. Premier Futebol Clube's Marcos Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Pereira in the 42nd minute of play. Marcos Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dito Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. The Premier Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chavantes EC were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Otávio Netto made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Premier Futebol Clube's Simão Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Bezerra in the 60th minute of play forced Chavantes EC's goalkeeper Eusébio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Premier Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Netto. Dito Araújo came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Sousa could save by the left post. When Beto Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Chavantes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Pereira couldn't finish the play. Marcos Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dito Araújo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Premier Futebol Clube's zone, Beto Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Sousa came out of the goal and Beto Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Felippe Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Beto Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Sousa made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dito Araújo sent off a good shot on target. If Dito Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chavantes EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
