Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zézinho Fonseca got the match started through his kick off. Zézinho Fonseca scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 9 minutes, Jardel Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taciua SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Quaresma hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Zézinho Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Álvaro Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fidalgo. Álvaro Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zézinho Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Álvaro Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Renato Gaspar went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Vladimir Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Álvaro Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jardel Brito was the one to do the kick off. Egídio de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Zézinho Fonseca sped through Taciua SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Álvaro Moreira. Sílvio Luiz Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Brito in the 64th minute of the match. Cristian do Valle's late challenge caught a Fidalgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Cristian do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zézinho Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Fidalgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Zézinho Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zézinho Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Álvaro Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fidalgo's Zézinho Fonseca in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taciua SC's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Sílvio Luiz Ramos managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Taciua SC's Dinei Freire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Álvaro Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Zézinho Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Moreira having to make a save. Fidalgo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
