David Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Barriero getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Yan Oliveira hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Tião Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Carlos Fernando Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Denílson Souto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Patrick Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Rogers in the 27th minute of play forced Barriero's goalkeeper David Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tião Meira scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Barriero's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Meira came free, but David Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tião Meira in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40thth minute of the game Denílson Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Weissópolis F.C's Louis Armstrong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Tião Meira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barriero's David Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denílson Souto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Weissópolis F.C's Patrick Rogers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Sampaio. David Sampaio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The referee ignored Weissópolis F.C's protests and gave Dida Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Weissópolis F.C getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dida Brasil hit a great ball. If Luan Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Lopes in the 62nd minute of play forced Weissópolis F.C's goalkeeper Louis Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Weissópolis F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Oliveira came free, but Louis Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Luan Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barriero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 71st minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Peres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Louis Armstrong showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luan Souza during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tião Meira's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Luiz Gustavo Peres hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Tião Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Sampaio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barriero's zone, Jarbas Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Sampaio came out of the goal and Jarbas Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Jarbas Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weissópolis F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Meira in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Weissópolis F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barriero throughout the match.
