Edgar dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Perez in the 37th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Joseense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Negri to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Renatinho Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prata SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Perez in the 47th minute of play forced Joseense's goalkeeper Edgar dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eliseu Santos made the kick off in the second half. Benedito Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. In the 85thth minute of the game André Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prata SC's Américo Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prata SC's Américo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Novaes in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Novaes in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Américo Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes Prata SC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Abraão. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
