Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robinho Favoretto made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Ponte preta's goalkeeper Anderson Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder Santos. 5 minutes into the match, Só Canelas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Oliveira came free, but Aleandro da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Acácio Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ponte preta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robinho Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleandro da Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Só Canelas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Oliveira came free, but Aleandro da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponte preta's Anderson Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte preta from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Acácio Oliveira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Só Canelas F.C.'s Aleandro da Fonseca. Aleandro da Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elder Santos scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anderson Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ponte preta's Anderson Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Koehler in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Ponte preta got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Oliveira. Robinho Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Nelsinho Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nelsinho Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Só Canelas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Koehler couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Nelsinho Koehler made the kick off in the second half. Nelsinho Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Lopez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte preta's zone, Erivaldo Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Lopez came out of the goal and Erivaldo Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nelsinho Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anderson Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Nelsinho Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Anderson Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
