Válter Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Matías Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Sampaio in the 18th minute of the match. Edgard Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Válter Arantes to make the kick off. Pindoval SS's Matías Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Arantes in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Válter Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corte AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Válter Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sydney Varela fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindoval SS's protests and gave Sydney Varela a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pindoval SS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sydney Varela hit a great ball. Pindoval SS's Edgard Sampaio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor de Salles hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mendes in the 75th minute of play forced Corte AD's goalkeeper Leopoldo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Sampaio scored 0-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgard Sampaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Gonçalves came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgard Sampaio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 85th minute. When José Paulo Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pindoval SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo Mendes couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Válter Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Pindoval SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Corte AD.
