Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jairo Matorin started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Bird Gang booed when Tesouras SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Matorin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Fernandinho Saraiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Bird Gang's Jairo Matorin in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tesouras SS's goalie prevented a goal. Dagoberto Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fernandinho Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Romero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernandinho Saraiva. Dagoberto Romero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tesouras SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Jairo Matorin scored to the left of an out of position Fernandinho Saraiva, making the score, 2-0. When Dorival Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tesouras SS's protests and gave Dorival Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Negri was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Claudinho Cunha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gu Lin Han. Claudinho Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Tesouras SS's Fernandinho Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Matorin in the 59th minute of play. Claudinho Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Negri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gu Lin Han came out and tried to block the shot, but Alessandro Negri slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Dorival Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Romero struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fernandinho Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bird Gang. Dagoberto Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fernandinho Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Bird Gang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Melo to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinho Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gu Lin Han made a huge save. If Dagoberto Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo de Queirós hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tesouras SS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nelson Vides hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Matorin in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandinho Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernandinho Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Romero in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
