Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrézinho Mello got the match started through his kick off. Benjamim Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bitaculo AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustão Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time Angustura EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Faustão Mello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Márcio Trigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andrézinho Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rodriguinho Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Angustura EC's zone, Eugênio Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Paulista came out of the goal and Eugênio Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bitaculo AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Cássio Alagoano scored to the left of an out of position Márcio Trigo, making the score, 1-0. Bitaculo AD's Márcio Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Alagoano in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Angustura EC booed when Bitaculo AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Mello in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Mello in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute Andrézinho Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cássio Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Mello succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 53rd playminute. Andrézinho Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Paulista having to interfere. Andrézinho Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bitaculo AD getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rubinho Braga hit a great ball. Márcio Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugênio Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Paulista having to interfere. Eugênio Nunes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Rodriguinho Paulista skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rodriguinho Paulista made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Andrézinho Mello sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Cássio Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Paulista made a huge save. Márcio Trigo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Angustura EC's Cássio Alagoano. But to his dismay, Cássio Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Angustura EC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bitaculo AD for much of the match.
