In the 8th minute, Roger Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerzy Rzeszutek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Ramalho EC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Alves. Diogo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Severino Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Roger Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Rzeszutek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Fred França kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Ramalho EC's Hélder Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Felipe Martxelin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito Passos. Vito Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When Diogo Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ramalho EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Macedo couldn't finish the play. Hélder Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Passos having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Mauro Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Vieira got free with Jerzy Rzeszutek in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Martxelin's late challenge caught a Confusao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Martxelin helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Ramalho EC's zone, Fred França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Rzeszutek came out of the goal and Fred França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Severino Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Confusao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Vieira couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Confusao walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
