Spectators: 7297 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Luiz Vidal got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Torres notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Praça SC's Doriva Amorim. Doriva Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Doriva Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Maricá FC's Shao Zhen Song fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Praça SC's zone, Shao Zhen Song stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Amorim came out of the goal and Shao Zhen Song tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Maricá FC's Shao Zhen Song nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eduardo Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doriva Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shao Zhen Song in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Paulo Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shao Zhen Song could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Doriva Amorim made a huge save. When Shao Zhen Song came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Maricá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shao Zhen Song couldn't finish the play. Shao Zhen Song recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Praça SC's Doriva Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Praça SC from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Doriva Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shao Zhen Song got free with Doriva Amorim in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Sanches during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nildo Sanches hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shao Zhen Song was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Luiz Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doriva Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Shao Zhen Song fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Amorim having to interfere. Praça SC's Doriva Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Zhen Song in the 58th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Doriva Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shao Zhen Song took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doriva Amorim. Doriva Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Praça SC's zone, Shao Zhen Song stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Amorim came out of the goal and Shao Zhen Song tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doriva Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Zhen Song, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Maricá FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Maricá FC's Pedro Luiz Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Praça SC's zone, Shao Zhen Song stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Amorim came out of the goal and Shao Zhen Song tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doriva Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Varela in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Shao Zhen Song cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Doriva Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shao Zhen Song fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Amorim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Shao Zhen Song managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maricá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shao Zhen Song was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Shao Zhen Song cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Doriva Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Shao Zhen Song shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Shao Zhen Song's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva Amorim was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Pedro Luiz Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Doriva Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Maricá FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
