The supporters of Anel FC booed when Esporte Clube Godoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Esporte Clube Godoy's Geovanni Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kauan de Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Esporte Clube Godoy's Gláuber Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Mattos in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Velasco in the 22nd minute of play forced Esporte Clube Godoy's goalkeeper Gláuber Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25th play minutes Wellington Xavier shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Kauan de Mendonça and just under the crossbar into goal. Wellington Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan de Mendonça having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Esporte Clube Godoy's zone, Giuseppe Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Félix came out of the goal and Giuseppe Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Cauan Mattos in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Esporte Clube Godoy's zone, Percival do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber Félix came out of the goal and Percival do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Giuseppe Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gláuber Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Anel FC defense, Marcelo da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kauan de Mendonça. The Anel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kauan de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jeferson Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Clube Godoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauan de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gláuber Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Pimenta in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Esporte Clube Godoy's Gláuber Félix got control of the ball when Giuseppe Pimenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anel FC's Kauan de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo da Costa in the 76th minute of play. Maurício Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Mattos in the 81st minute of play forced Esporte Clube Godoy's goalkeeper Gláuber Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Anel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Velasco to maneuver through the defense. Esporte Clube Godoy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Cauan Mattos scored to the left of an out of position Gláuber Félix, making the score, 5-1. Kauan de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Esporte Clube Godoy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
